The Club's new coach Karim Bencharifa who signed for Bagan for record Rs 60,00,000 for the season came back from Morocco and Visited the Bagan tent today morning amidst a thronging crowd which was already present give him a warm welcome.
Karim intends on beginning his practice from the next week. Even though he will miss the National players he is still confident to make through with the new players. When asked about his goal in Bagan, he replied, for him I League is the most important thing in India and his ultimate goal has to be the I league and the CFL is however important only in Calcutta.
"TuTu" Bose, the club president declared that Bhaichung would remain as the Captain of the Green and Maroon squad and also declared the team list for the Bagan's upcoming season. There are more freshers into the side rather than experienced campaigners excpet for Bhaichung, Barreto upfront and Sangram under the bar.The team list for the Season 2008-09:
